Surgery and obstetric

It is one of the important clinical departments of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine that has been developed since the establishment of the Faculty in 2006. The lessons taught by the branch are surgery, obstetrics, fertility, reproductive technologies, veterinary application of the fourth and fifth phase in primary studies, in addition to teaching higher diploma and master's in animal reproduction.

Objectives of the department

Preparation of veterinarians specializing in veterinary surgery and obstetrics.

Preparation of the holders of higher degrees in the specialization of animal reproduction.

Provide service to the community by receiving cases requiring surgical intervention or deliveries and examining sonar for animals.

Doing graduate courses and developing their skills in the use of sonar, pregnancy diagnosis and surgical intervention.

Acquire scientific skills by accessing modern sources.
